This antique merchant’s crock is a striking advertising display piece signed H. Dickson, Hats, Caps, and Furs, No. 60 State Street, Albany.
Standing approximately 13 inches tall, it features a beautifully detailed front graphic showing a customer being fitted for a hat, capturing the charm and craftsmanship of early commercial storefront advertising.
The bottom is stamped “Made by Moira Pottery, MOIRA Co. TD England,” confirming its English pottery origin and adding to its collectible appeal.
