Blood hewing axe antique wooden handle hatchet steel head. Measures 16" by 6" with handle. Stamped J. Harrison. This axe was designed to make usable lumber from logs as it has a broad surface that can cut boards. Anyone who uses an axe for wood splitting or in battle would recommend having a tool like this around.
