Bring a little nostalgia into your home with this beautiful Victorian porcelain biscuit barrel featuring a lovely rose motif.

Standing approximately 7 inches tall, this charming piece is at least 100 years old and is a wonderful example of the decorative porcelain that would have been found in a well-loved kitchen or dining room.

The barrel is completely intact with no chips or cracks. It does have the typical fine crazing associated with antique porcelain of this age, adding to its character and confirming its age and history.

There is a maker's signature on the rim of the barrel. The name is somewhat difficult to make out, appearing possibly to read "Emir" or something similar, so I am not making a definitive attribution.

A wonderful piece for an antique porcelain collection, Victorian kitchen display, tea room, or anyone looking to bring back the nostalgia of grandma's house. It would also make a beautiful display piece alongside other antique serving pieces and kitchen collectibles.

A lovely survivor from another era, with its delicate rose decoration and genuine age giving it plenty of charm.
